Cultural Product - Getty Images Gallery

Updated: May 22, 2019

I spent the day in London sourcing exhibitions, galleries and museums which displayed images from various artists/ photographers. The first gallery that I visited was the Getty Images Gallery, it was displaying the work of Tony Vaccaro, who is an American photographer best known for his images taken in Europe during 1944 and 1945, and in Germany immediately following World War II. He later became a lifestyle, fashion photographer for US magazines. This was his first exhibition in the UK in over 50 years. Some of the images displayed were some of the images that I gathered during the visit.

The contemporary Vs. Historic images complimented each other as they resembled similar circumstances but executed in a more modern fashion.
