Live Project - Wedding Prep

These are some of the images that I have taken during the morning prep of my mums wedding. The day was filled with love and laughter and I wanted the capture the vibrancy of the day within the images. The theme of the wedding was vintage, and I wanted to capture the essence of this through the way that I edited the images. Meaning that the colours are clear and bold, with a slight cool under-tone to them. The day was so special. The images were only used to send to my mum for her social media and personal use as there was a professional photographer on the day. I asked if it was okay if I took images myself, as I didn't know whether that would be an issue. However, he was more than happy for me to take my own images during the early stages of my mum, the other bridesmaids and the mother of the bride getting ready for the big day. I feel like I captured true moments of joy and the anticipation that came with waiting around to get seen to by the makeup and hair artist, hoping to not walk down the isle late.
